After Action Report Coming Soon

I have comleted 12 turns of one of the most enjooyable games I have ever played. Every figure is on the table. Even after 12 turns, it could go either way. The rules are working out great. Using cards to see who goes when, and then having to roll for actions with the possibility of getting none and losing the initiative has created a lot of suspense in the game. My casualty figures on their new bases clearly show where the fiercest parts of the battle have played out. Being able to send an aide de camp to lead a specific battalion into action adds a nice layer. Brigade commanders can attach to individual units to increase their number of dice, but they then have a higher risk of be hit themselves. So far, two generals have been lightly wounded and John Roy Stewart was killed leading his regiment against a line of regulars. I feel like the results are pretty realistic. After 12 turns, each side has two or three brigades that are pretty beat up with one or two fresh ones in reserve. The little markers I made to show disorder, being worn or being wavering have been a big help. This has been a lot of fun so far. It should come to a conclusion in the next three or four turns.
A highland charge takes terrible casualties
Two regular units fire away at one another at close range
John Roy Stewart's gallant assault was successful, but at a great cost.
