I have a small group of French dragoons for sale. There are nine, and this would be an ideal unit for Sharp Practice, eight plus an officer.
I am asking $70 plus $10 shipping within the US.

I purchased a couple of Victirx Napoleonic dragoon sets. I really liked their Old Guard lancers, so I wanted to give these a try.
Overall, I was pleased with them. They are, as are all Victrix figures, very delicate. Assembly is a challenge. But once assembled, they paint up nicely.
So how do they compare with the Perry plastic dragoons? I would say they match up pretty well. It seems to me the Perrys are a tad larger, but not enough to notice. While the Victrix horses are nicely animated, I like the Perry ones better. They are more compact (not smaller), which makes them easier to base.
I am glad I purchased the Victrix. They will comprise a third dragoon regiment of 18 figures for my collection. They provide some nice variety. However, the Perry dragoon set is one of the best deals out there as it includes dismounted dragoons AND several casualty figures which I have used in many ways.
I will let some pictures tell the rest/

I have painted up some Perry plastic British and French.
36 Brits for $105 plus $10 for shipping in U.S.
42 French for $125 plus $10 for shipping in U.S.
Both groups for $215 plus $15 for shipping in U.S.
These aren't based, so they are great for Sharp Practice, or can be put together to make units of Black Powder or other rule sets.

Had a great time playing this game with my longtime gaming friend. He took the French and allies while I commanded the Russians.
The French maneuvered the Old Guard cavalry to the left flank to join the Bavarians in their attack on the Russian right. In the meantime, my opponent used the first four turns to try to wear down my large batteries before committing his Guard infantry. The Duchy of Warsaw brigades on the right started off a bit late, but added their weight to the attack on about turn five.

We were able to complete 10 turns before we had to adjourn. The French had been able to drive off or destroy two Russian batteries, and a third was reduced by half. However, the Russian infantry still occupied the village and their right flank was holding. Therefore, the result was inconclusive. What was not in doubt, though, was that we both had a great time and are looking forward to getting together again soon.
