Regiments for my Grandsons for Christmas

Old Glory, for whatecer reason, is selling its bag of 30 of Jacobite government infanry for $10.40 (using the Army discount). I purchased six plus two bags of command and a bag of mounted officers. So, for a little over $100 I was able to put together a nice regiment for each of them. Westley's Regiment

Jacobite Collection Update

I have made considerable progress on my Jacobite Rebellion collection. I got them all out on the table and took some photograhs. I am quite pleased with how it is all turning out. It hwas been quite affordable, too. Using the Old Glory Army discount, the infantry figures have cost less than a dollar apiece. Thus far, the collection stands at close to 700 figures, with 70 more yet to be added. I have been working on some commissions and a Christmas project for my grandsons, so I have had to put the rules I have been developing on the back burner. I will get back to them after the holidays.

Latest Commission

My latest commission is doing some Epic ECW figures. These are some really nice figures; lots of detail. The tutorials on You Tube have been very helpful.

Terrain Additions from Hovels

I got a second order of pieces from Hovels via Triangle Miniatures. I am very fond of these castings. They are a pleasure to paint up, and they paint up quickly. I spray paint them black and go from there. The church model is terrific. I got a second farmhouse and then some crates and barrels of fruit.
