Getting Into Pillage

Over the years I have collected and then sold off figures from mideival period. I have been drawn to the shields and armor. The fighting is mostly hand to hand, though there are some missle troops that can join the fray. I investigated the Pillage rules put our by Victrix. I like the skirmish nature of the game. The warband packages were also an attraction, so I picked up a couple along with shield transfers before the tarrifs took affect. They painted up pretty well. I have plenty of figure options to put together some potent warbands. I have ordered some Saxon buildings from a company in Nebraska that will be the center piece of many of my battles, I am sure.
