Victrix Persian Infantry versus Spartan Phalanx

I put some Spartans on the table to see how they would fare against my new Persians. The Spartans got off to a slow start ( high command rolls) which allowed the Persian archers to fire a couple of volleys into the three phalanxes. Once they got moving, however, they were able to close with the pajama clad Persians. After one round of combat, a Persian unit was destroyed allowing its opposing phalanx to move into a flanking position. The other two Persian units managed to hold their ground, but the next round of action would more than likely see them driven from the table. These shots were taken after the third turn. The Persian skirmish units have been destroyed along with one of the medium infantry units. It is looking grim for the Persians.
