The Whole Napoleonic Collection

Summer allows the time to do some frivolous things. One such thing is putting out your entire collection of 28mm Napoleonic figures and take inventory.  The collection has grown over the last couple years, particularly in the number of French allied troops and British cavalr

The French Old Guard, consisting of four battalions and one battery of heavy guns.
A brigade of French chasseurs a cheval, each of 24 figures. In front are Perry plastics, behind are Warlord Games.

French infantry

A French battery

French allies, including Nassau and Italians.

Two battalions from the Confederation of the Rhine

A Swiss regiment in Spanish service.

Three Spanish battalions and a Spanish battery

British dragoons. These are Perry metal figures. Very nice.

My Portuguese brigade of four line and one light.

British heavy dragoons from Warlord Games

British Light Dragoons. Perry Plastics.

Another French battery and more line battalions

Perry British hussars about to collide with French lancers from Warlord Games.

More British hussars

Two regiments of Perry plastic French dragoons.

French dismounted dragoons behind some scratch built fences.

A look down the table.

The British line from the front.

A British battery; Victrix plastics.

A Swiss battalion and the newest addition, one from Neuchatel.

A French legere battalion from Warlord Games.

A shot from the other end of the table.

  1. One never needs an excuse for a parade review and a splendid review it is! Nice collection.

  3. Great viewing Duke. Was Napoleon himself present? Your collection is truly growing in grand formation and display. Laying out the miniatures must have taken you many hours, if not several evenings. I fully behold your tireless effort and your excellent painting skill too.

    1. Thanks for the kind words Michael. I was actually able to set it all up in a couple of hours this afternoon. Once I got on a roll it went pretty quickly.
